Talk to the person who actually builds the website.

Send over your website address and a line about what you want more of, and you'll get a free, hand-checked review of the biggest opportunities — search visibility, speed, structure, local ranking potential and the parts of the site that quietly lose enquiries.

Based in Bankfoot, Perthshire, working with businesses across the UK. Our email is hello@bmrdigital.co.uk — use the question form below to send your enquiry. The review is free with no obligation.

Ways to reach us

Every enquiry starts in writing so nothing gets missed. Prefer to talk? Request a callback below and I’ll get back to you to agree a time. You are not going through a call centre, an account manager or a chain of people who pass your details along — the reply comes from the person who will do the work on your website.

Enquiries are answered on weekdays, roughly 9am to 6pm UK time. Anything that lands outside those hours gets picked up the next working day.

Ask a question

Got a question? Ask it here

You do not need a website address or a project in mind to get in touch. Ask anything — what something is likely to cost, whether your current site is worth keeping, how long SEO takes to show results, or whether a booking system would suit the way you work. Leave your name, your email and the question, and the answer comes back from the person who does the work.

What you get

What actually happens when you send an enquiry

Plenty of agencies treat a contact form as the start of a sales funnel. Here it is simply the start of a conversation about your website. There is no automated drip of emails, no pressure to book a call before you have been told anything useful, and no report generated by a tool and forwarded to you with a logo slapped on the front.

01

Your site gets looked at properly

Your website is opened on a phone and on a desktop, because most local searches happen on a phone and that is usually where the problems show up first. How fast the first screen appears, whether the main service is obvious, whether it is clear which areas you cover, and whether calling or emailing you takes one tap or three.

02

The search side gets checked

Page titles, headings, internal links, whether service and location pages exist at all, whether the same content has been repeated across pages, whether structured data is present, and whether the site is even eligible to appear for the searches your customers actually type. Technical faults that quietly hold a site back are flagged here.

03

You get a plain-English summary

A short written reply listing the biggest opportunities in the order they are worth doing, with a rough idea of effort for each. If the fixes are small enough that you could do them yourself, you will be told that too. Whether you go ahead is entirely up to you.

Good reasons to get in touch

Most people who make contact are not looking for a redesign for the sake of it. They have a specific frustration. These are the ones that come up most often.

  • “My website looks fine but nobody finds it.” A site can look smart and still be invisible, because looking good and being structured for search are two different jobs. Usually the pages people search for simply do not exist, or the whole site is one page trying to cover everything.
  • “Competitors rank above me and their site is worse.” Almost always down to structure, local signals and content depth rather than design. That is fixable, and it is often the cheapest work with the biggest return.
  • “It is slow on a phone.” Oversized images, bloated plugins and heavy page builders. Visitors leave before the page finishes loading, and search engines notice the same thing.
  • “I pay someone monthly and cannot see what I get.” If nobody can explain in plain terms what was done last month and what changed as a result, that is a fair reason to ask questions.
  • “I need a site from scratch.” New business, or moving off a free page or a social profile onto something you own and control.
  • “I want to appear when people ask AI tools for a recommendation.” A growing share of searches now happen inside AI assistants, and the sites that get quoted are the ones with clear, factual, well-structured answers on the page.

Who this suits — and who it does not

Being straight about fit saves everyone time, so here it is.

It suits independent and local businesses — garages and MOT centres, trades and builders, plumbers and electricians, campervan and vehicle hire, small service firms and sole traders — who want more enquiries from their own area and want to understand what they are paying for. It also suits businesses that already have a site and need it rebuilt or repaired rather than replaced from scratch, and businesses with several locations or services that need a proper page structure instead of one crowded page.

It does not suit anyone looking for guaranteed number-one rankings, because nobody can honestly promise that. It is also the wrong fit if you want hundreds of thin pages churned out to game search results — that approach damages sites rather than helping them. And if you want a large agency with a full account team and a matching monthly bill, there are plenty of those and they are not what is on offer here.

The background here is running real businesses, including a working garage in Perthshire, and building the systems behind them. That is why the questions you get asked are about enquiries, jobs and phone calls rather than impressions and vanity metrics. You can read more about that on the about page and see the live sites on our work.

Before you write

What it costs, and what to expect on timings

Every project is quoted individually after a quick conversation. Websites are priced based on the number of pages, the writing involved and the search strategy needed. Ongoing SEO is quoted monthly depending on your market and how much content and technical work is required. Design jobs such as leaflets, flyers and social graphics are quoted per job. Full detail is on the pricing page.

On timing: a small site is typically ready to review inside a couple of weeks once the content and images are in hand, and the honest bottleneck is almost always waiting on text and photos rather than the build itself. SEO is slower by nature. Technical fixes and new pages can show movement within weeks, but competitive local rankings are a matter of months of steady work, not days. Anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.

If you would rather see how the pieces fit together first, the website design, SEO and AI search pages explain the work in more detail, and there are local pages for Perth and Dundee.

FAQ

Contact questions, answered

How quickly will I get a reply?

Enquiries sent on a weekday between 9am and 6pm UK time are usually answered the same working day. Anything that arrives in the evening or at the weekend is answered the next working day. You will always get a real reply from the person who does the work — never an automated sequence or a sales team working from a script.

What happens after I send the form?

Your website is looked at by hand. That means checking how it loads on a phone, how the pages are structured for search engines, whether the important service and location pages exist, whether the technical basics are in place, and whether the site actually asks people to get in touch. You then get a short written summary of the biggest opportunities in plain English.

Does the free review cost anything or commit me to anything?

No. The review is free and there is no obligation to buy anything afterwards. If the honest answer is that your current website is fine and you would be better spending the money elsewhere, that is what you will be told.

I do not have a website yet — can I still get in touch?

Yes. If there is no website to review, describe the business, the services you want to be found for and the towns you cover. You will get a straight answer on what sort of site would suit you, what it would involve and what it would involve.

Do you work with businesses outside Scotland?

Yes. Most clients so far are in Perth, Dundee, Fife and the surrounding areas, but the work is done remotely by email so location is not a barrier anywhere in the UK.

Why is there no phone number on the site?

Because work is done hands-on rather than in an office with someone answering calls, written enquiries keep everything in one place. If you would prefer to talk, use Book a call and leave your number, what you want to discuss and the days and times that suit you. I’ll get back to you by email to agree a time before the call.

Your details are only ever used to run your review and reply to you. Nothing is added to a mailing list and nothing is passed to anyone else — the privacy policy sets that out in full.

Send your website over and see what is holding it back.

One email, a hand-checked review and a straight answer. If the work is not worth doing, you will be told that as well.
