Free review

Find out what's wrong with your website.

Not a colour-coded score out of 100. A straight answer on why your website isn't bringing in the enquiries it should, and what would change that.

In short
Enter your website address below and we'll review it by hand — speed, structure, keyword gaps, local visibility and AI-search readiness — then send you the three things worth fixing first.

No fake scores. A person looks at your site and tells you what's actually wrong.

What we look at

  • Page speed and Core Web Vitals on mobile

  • Site structure and whether services have their own pages

  • Titles, headings and metadata

  • Keyword gaps against your competitors

  • Local search visibility and Google Business Profile alignment

  • Structured data and AI-search readiness

  • Indexing and crawl problems

  • Whether the site actually asks people to get in touch

Prefer to tell us a bit more?

Fill this in instead and the review will be sharper — knowing your trade, your area and what you're trying to win helps us look at the right things.

Is the review really free?

Yes. We look at your site, tell you the biggest opportunities and what we'd charge to fix them. If you'd rather fix them yourself, that's fine too.

Is it an automated score?

No. Automated scores tell you very little. A person looks at your site, your search visibility and your competitors, and writes it up in plain English.

How long does it take?

Usually two to three working days.

Will I get sales calls afterwards?

No. You get the review by email. If you want to talk about fixing things, you get in touch with us.

What would you like help with?

We only use your details to run your review and reply to you. No mailing lists, no sharing. Privacy policy.

The practical detail

Why we check your site like a mechanic checks an engine

Our founder, Robert, trained as a motor mechanic in Fife before getting into web development over 15 years ago. That background still shapes everything we do. When a car has a problem, you don't just look at the paintwork; you listen to the engine, check the diagnostics, and find the actual root cause. A shiny exterior can hide a multitude of sins.

We see websites the same way. Many look good but are fundamentally unhealthy. They might be slow, confusing for Google to understand, or missing the basic pages needed to rank for the services you offer. Our free audit is that diagnostic check. We get under the bonnet to find the one or two key faults that are costing you business. We won't try to sell you a respray if what you need is an oil change.

Robert also has dyslexia and ADHD, which means he's spent his career building systems that are clear, efficient, and get straight to the point. We apply that same thinking to your website review. It's about finding the most direct path to getting your site running properly and bringing in work, without the usual agency waffle.

Three things you can check yourself right now

You don't need to be an expert to spot some common issues. Before you even ask for a review, try these three simple checks. They only take a few minutes and can tell you a lot.

First, search for your main service in your primary location, like 'campervan hire Scotland' or 'HGV training Portsmouth'. Do you appear in the map listings? Are you on the first page of the normal results? If you're not there for your most important search term, customers can't find you. That's problem number one.

Second, open your website on your phone, but make sure you turn off your Wi-Fi and use your mobile data. Count how many seconds it takes for the page to become usable. If it's more than three or four, you're losing people. Is your phone number easy to find and tap to call? If a potential customer has to pinch and zoom just to contact you, they'll often give up.

Third, look at your own menu. Do you have a separate, dedicated page for each important service you provide? A business offering 'IT support' should have individual pages for things like 'business systems', 'data backup', and 'network security'. If you've lumped everything together on one page, you're making it hard for Google to see you as an expert in any single one of them.

Is this audit just for local trades businesses?

No, not at all. While we do a lot of work with local service businesses like Bob's Mechanical Repairs and East Fife Garage Services, we look at websites for all sorts of organisations across the UK. Our process is about diagnosing why a site isn't performing, and that applies to everyone.

We've built and optimised sites for national companies like Direct HGV Driver Training, e-commerce brands like Caledonian Tourers, and online publishers like SpeakersMag and Pentland Press. We've even developed specialist online tools like Find AI Tool and MOT Assistant. The principles of good SEO, a clear structure, and a fast site are the same whether you're a mechanic in Cupar or an app developer selling to a UK-wide audience.

When you fill in the form, telling us your business type and your main service helps us focus the review. We'll look at the competitors that actually matter to you and the search terms that will bring you the right kind of enquiries, whatever industry you're in.

What happens after you get the review?

We will email you the review, usually within two to three working days. It will be a straightforward document written in plain English, highlighting the three biggest opportunities we've found. You will not get any sales calls from us, and your details are not added to any marketing lists. We respect your privacy.

Once you have the review, the ball is in your court. You're completely free to use our findings to fix the site yourself or give the notes to your existing web person. There is no obligation to use us for any paid work.

If you do want our help, just reply to the email and we can provide a fixed-price quote to sort out the issues. If the problems point towards needing ongoing support, our monthly SEO packages start from £199. If a full rebuild is the best option, our website packages are typically priced at £499, £999, or £1499. We'll tell you the cost upfront, with no surprises.
